What a class looks like
A quick warm up, one skill, then a real game. More than half of every class is kids playing.
-
Warm Up 5 min
Get moving.
-
Skill Development 15-20 min
One skill, a few drills, lots of touches.
-
Scrimmage 25-30 min
The main event. Kids play a real game, every week.
- Every kid gets a Scrimmage Club shirt to keep, and we bring all the gear. Just bring water.
Founding families
Fall Soccer is the first season. The families who sign up now are building Scrimmage Club with us: you'll shape what we run next, and you get first access to every season after this one.
The best thing you can do for the club is bring a friend. Know another homeschool family with a kid who wants to play? Send them this page.

Nick Aufenkamp
Nick has coached youth soccer for several seasons and homeschools his own kids. He started Scrimmage Club because weekday mornings were open and his kids wanted to play with other kids, not just each other. He runs every class himself.
Questions
Anything else? hello@scrimmageclub.com
Each class runs with 9 or more kids registered by October 11. If yours doesn't, we'll offer the other class first, or a full refund.
We strongly encourage it. There's plenty of seating, room for other kids to do school work or stretch out, and great parents to connect with. Also, feel free to catch up with Coach Nick before or after class.
We understand things come up. If you have to miss a session, just let Coach Nick know. Due to the nature of renting the facility, unfortunately there are no refunds for missed classes. Make up classes are determined on a case-by-case basis.
Athletic clothes and a water bottle. Flat soled shoes or turf shoes only, please. Cleats are not allowed on the turf field. Shin guards encouraged but not required.
It's built for homeschool families, but any kid who's free on Thursday mornings is welcome.
Winter Flag Football starts in January, same place, same mornings. Fall Soccer families get first access.
